Most recently, my paintings, puppets, and shadowboxes were on exhibition, in a show called Ring of Fire. The show took place for 6 weeks at the charming, 19th century European styled Throckmorton Theater and gallery in Mill Valley, California.
During my exhibitions, I perform a storytelling salon called, “The Best Journeys Are Not Always In Straight Lines”. I think of the salon as a ‘walking memoir’ in which I take the audience around the galleries, pairing artwork with stories from my life.
These stories depict one- time chances, turning points, moments of moral courage, revelations, sudden catastrophes, and doors opening or closing. They come from experiences that have made all the difference in my life.
The following 6 video’s chronicle a walking memoir.
All curious lovers of art and life are warmly welcomed on this journey of crooked storylines.
